Guests can choose from three different rafting trip options. The Middle Ocoee River, the Upper Ocoee River and the Ocoee Combo.
Ocoee River Rafting Trips:
The Middle Ocoee Rafting trip is a half day trip. It is a 5 mile section of river that winds its way thru the scenic Cherokee National Forrest. On this section of the Ocoee, rafters get to experience almost continuous class III & IV whitewater. The Middle Ocoee trip follows the historic wooden flume line down the river to the last class IV rapid named Power House Rapid.
The Upper Ocoee Rafting is a 5 mile section of river that is highlighted by the thrilling whitewater course built for the Olympics. Rafters get to experience the same white water course used during the Olympic Games.
The Ocoee Combo Trip is a full day on the river. The Combo combines the Upper Ocoee River and the Middle Ocoee River for an awesome day on the river. Rafters start the day on the Upper Ocoee River. A hearty grilled riverside lunch is served halfway down and guests get a chance to rest and stretch their sea legs. After lunch guests head out on the Middle Ocoee River. During the summer months the Ocoee Combo is our most popular trip so advanced reservations are recommended.
All equipment and transportation are provided for rafting trips. All rafting trips are fully guided, so no experience is necessary. The minimum age for the Ocoee River is 12 years old.
