Ocoee Whitewater Rafting serves up big waves and continuous action making it the most popular whitewater river in the country. Located just north of Georgia in Ducktown, TN the Ocoee River is the perfect white water rafting option if coming from the Atlanta area, with two great sections to raft.
The Middle Ocoee has fast moving class III-IV white water packed with over twenty continuous rapids starting as soon as you hit the water. The Upper Ocoee hosted the whitewater events in the 1996 Olympics and contains awesome class IV white water. For an incredible full day trip you can opt for the Ocoee Combo and experience both sections of river, ten miles of white water, with a riverside lunch in between.
The Ocoee River is dam controlled, which insures that we always have constant reliable white water. The main Ocoee Whitewater Rafting season is Thursday thru Monday all summer long with limited days in the spring and fall.
At a minimum age of only 12 years old, the Ocoee River is perfect for beginners and experienced rafters.
